Scenarios for terrestrial animals

Camels have long been domesticated as livestock for food and textiles, and provide a vital means of transport for passengers and cargo in history. Druid began terrestrial tracking development with the invitation of China Mobile, the world largest mobile network operator, for solving the management difficulty on camels caused by their desert habitat and astonishing motility. This project not only won the “outstanding application of sustainable development” awarded by the United Nation Global Compact in 2018, but also relieved the farmers from inefficient searching of their living asset. Thousands of farmers benefit from subscription tracking information via smartphone.

From then on, Druid has added BADGE and BLOCK deployed as collars and RING as ear tags to DEBUT series inventory for terrestrial tracking. Despite location and ODBA, behavior such as rest, moving, grazing and rumination can be recognized and analysis powered by Druid’s algorithm library – Aniact Intelligence. Druid has established a standard of procedure to customize collars with different sizes, power solutions, transmitting options, etc. in order to fulfill the diverse demands of terrestrial research.
